Nick Dallett Hi! I'm Nick, and you've found my MP3 server. Here's a little about me: I'm a code monkey currently employed by Microsoft. In my former life, I was a musician. I am very diverse, musically, spanning everything from contemporary classical music to punk rock, with just about everything in between. This directory tree contains stuff that went out under my name (as opposed to under a group name, for which go up a directory and check out all the stuff under \MP3). Much of the music I've done is improvisational (go up a level and check out the improvisation folder for that). Most of the following is not: Domina et Felis - my 1992 Cantata for baritone, soprano, and chamber orchestra. this was my senior project for my music degree. Introspection - My 1988 album - world music/light jazz Migration of Morningales - my 1990 album - everything from classical guitar to acid rock Port Townsend Dreams - My two tracks from this 1990 compilation album Unreleased - various studio tracks that never made wax. These are pretty much just experimental tracks - trying out arrangements to see how stuff sounds. Several of these are more recent than any of my albums and really show how I progressed during the year and a half that I pursued music full-time (1990 - 1992) Guitar Ensemble - this includes chamber music selections from Composer's Fund-sponsored concerts, plus jazz ensemble work I did with various folks. Guitar solo material is included here as well. Piano Ensemble - Original chamber music performed with various instrumentalists as performed in concerts sponsored by The Composer's Fund in the mid '80s. Piano Solo - Solo piano compositions, mostly from Composer's Fund performances
